For those pictures I used the Focal Black and White feature on the Picasa 3 program. I love how it is border B&W and then the center is color!

So here is the baby, she is almost 2:

I have been playing with the camera and shooting the girls in different ways. Here is a mini photo shoot that we did last week. And then some pictures for school.

The First of Many

So here is something I did today. The girls and I went BTS (Back To School) shopping today and man did we have a lot of supplies! With 3 kids now in school there was a lot more shopping to be done. Here is a sampling of some of the things we had to get.






I will probably have quite a few pictures in here in the next week as I want to post some of my older photos.

My First Post

I am really excited to have a place to put all of my amateur pictures in. And when I mean amateur, I mean amateur! I got my Nikon D40


for Christmas last year from my dear (and super awesome) husband. I am a scrapbooker so he thought it only necessary to get a good camera that I can capture my memories with. Little did I know how confusing an SLR (Single Lens Reflex) can be! So this is going to be my practice spot to sport my pictures.
Please I would love some good constructive criticism. Especially with people shots. I have a difficult time getting people to look half way decent!
